Camping Midden Drenthe
In the heart of Drenthe at the village Zwiggelte, a short distance north of Westerbork, lies our cozy, 3 stars Camping and Caravan Park in the middle of the Ellertsveld sand-plateau. Drenthe belongs to the thinnest populated provinces of the Netherlands and has a very variegated landscape. Beside picturesque villages, meadows and fields one finds bunches, heath-land fields, sand-drifts, fens, marshes and protected brook-valleys. On foot, by horse or on a bicycle one can stray here infinitely, enjoying the fragrances, the sounds and the colours of the beautiful country holland. Moreover the province of Drenthe offers many possibilities for activities and excursions in various kinds.

Camping Midden Drenthe is, deliciously sheltered, situated in wooded, rural surroundings. As a result of the park-like set-up you can enjoy the flora and fauna from your tent, camper or caravan. The camp-site has 60 very spacious places and is provided with the necessary services to make you feel as comfortable as possible during your holiday.

Camping ‘Midden Drenthe’ is a child-friendly campsite perfect for Family Camping Holidays with the kids. Camping with children can bring you back to the simplicity of nature. Enjoy sleeping under the stars – be it in a tent, cabin, camper or mobile home. There is a children’s play area for the kids and many things to discover and have fun with on our campsite.
